Service Opportunity
On Monday September 6th, Real Life will be helping the Chapel Community Services with their food trailer. They will be serving pancakes & sausage. The will need approx 6 volunteers per shift.
1st shift – 7am to 9am – helping with set up.
2nd shift – 9am to 11am – cooking & serving the pancakes & sausage
3rd shift – 11am to 1pm – cooking & serving the pancakes & sausage plus helping with tear down.

July 3rd Fireworks at Portage Lakes!
7:00pm Meet at Milly Green’s House – 4104 Melton Avenue, Akron OH 44319
10:00pm Fireworks (we will be walking to see the fireworks!)
I am searching for a portable grill or two, small like camp ones so we can make smore’s!!
Please bring money for Pizza!
I will have some coke and sprite and ice and coolers so feel free to bring desserts, snacks, or beverages.
I have chairs but if you are afraid you will have nowhere to sit feel free to bring those as well.
If you can carpool I suggest it , it takes about 2 hours to get out of here after fireworks, so we can all hang out at my house after the fact. Bring some games, depending on how many of us there are, we can watch a movie or something too. Any thoughts let me know, thanks- looking forward to having you over!

On 77N, do not get off at Ridgewood Rd/Miller Rd. Ridgewood Rd is closed at Jacoby Rd. A roundabout is being put there.
Directions from Akron campus: I-77N get off at Cleveland-Massillon Rd, turn left. At the light (Ridgewood Rd) turn right, Copley High School is there on the right. Will go about 2 miles, turn left onto S Medina Line Rd. There is a little, white church there at the corner. Mine is the second house on the left past the church.
Directions from Green Campus: I-77N to 224W to 21N, get off at Copley Rd. Turn left onto Copley Rd. Go about mile and half or so. Just past the church on the left is the intersection of Copley Rd and S Medina Line Rd. This is now a 4 way stop. Turn right and go about 1 1/2 miles. My house will be on the right. If you see the white church, you went too far.

We will then leave at 7:15, carpooling down to
Boettler Park on Massillon Rd.
We can then grab something to eat at the festival,
then set up our chairs &/or blankets to listen to
the “Remember When” music
Skydivers are scheduled to land at 9:15
& Fireworks at 10:15

Join us for a Summer Hike! Real Life will be having a Hiking and Social Event on Friday June 4, 2010. We will me meeting at Gorge Metro Park Highbridge Trail (this is not the main trail, but is on the other side of the bridge that is over the water close to the main trail) at 6:15pm. Bring your friends and join us for prayer, felloship and exercise!

It’s time to start biking!!!! Everyone let’s head out next Sunday May 23 at 3pm from Canal Fulton, we will go south a bit and then come back and get some ice cream at Osers because that’s my favorite!!!!
